As a teacher it is important for me to observe unique individual strengths and talents in my students. I enjoy helping them to discover and maximize their potential both as a musician and as a life-long learner. As we work together, I aim to provide students with opportunities to discover new music, explore varied performance and reed-making techniques, better understand the character-development value of practicing, learn productive and positive self-evaluation methods, experiment with new musical perspectives, and find joy in their musical journey.
Students learn a variety of skills in lessons, including music theory, intonation, tone quality, practice techniques, body alignment, chamber music, breath support, reed-making, and instrument maintenance.
The oboe studio is located in Sandy, Utah. For more information about lessons, email firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out the form below.
